Color Guard & Winter Guard
Forestview High School offers both color guard during the fall and winter guard starting in November.
Color guard performs with the marching band at various competitions. Color Guard auditions will be held in March. Any rising 8th-12th grade Cramerton Middle, Southwest Middle and Forestview High School students are welcome to fill out the interest from and audition. No dance experience is required. Color Guard is open to all male and female students.
Winter Guard is a dance and interpretive performance art group with the combination of flags, sabers, mock riffles, and other prop equipment. While similar to the marching band color guard there are some key differences.
Winter Guard is an indoor sport with equipment, tarps, props, and recorded music. This group has their own competitions through the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association (CWEA).
