Forestview HS Jaguar Bands

The Marching Jaguar Band right now is an after school only activity. All students participating in the marching band are required to attend ALL assigned band camps, after school rehearsals, and performances. Composed of students from grades 8th-12th in the woodwind, brass, percussion, and color guard sections. The marching band learns and performs a competitive marching band show at football games, competitions, and will also partake in parades throughout the fall/winter seasons. Color guard falls under the Marching Arts Activities that incorporates body movement, dance, and manipulation of equipment including flag, rifle, saber, and other props. The color guard is a vital section within the marching band as they enhance the visual performance of the show. Band camp is required for all members intending on participating in the Marching Jaguars Band. Competitions occur on Saturdays at the end of September through October. All marching band and color guard students are required to volunteer at the Jaguar Classic marching band festival hosted at FHS.

If you are a rising 9th- 12th grade Forestview High School Student or a rising 8th grade student of Cramerton Middle or Southwest Middle and are interested in joining our color guard for the marching band please fill out the interest form under the Guard tab. No dance experience is require. Color guard is open to both male and female students.
